Heavy pre-Monsoon rains to lash Northeast India during the coming week, disruptions likely

Rain in Northeast India: By May 5 and 6, the remnants of cyclone Fani will reach Northeast India and during that time the intensity of rainfall activities will increase significantly. Heavy to very heavy spells of rain accompanied with violent lightning strikes and hailstorm in parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
